Deliverability: Help Us, Help You
Occasionally, one of your most dedicated subscribers might contact you and say, "Hey, why did you stop sending me your newsletter?" In cases like this, the problem may be that the subscriber's email server is incorrectly blocking messages for a variety of reasons. Informz will work to fix the block on your behalf, but there are also ways you can help.
Keep an Eye on Delivery
If you have contacts who are always motivated to interact with your mailing, but then suddenly they are not appearing in your activity reports as one of your top clickers, that might signal a problem. Contact them directly and make sure there isn't an issue. This is especially important if your contact is a valued member of your subscriber list.
Get Information
If you find there is a problem with email not getting delivered to a specific domain, the first step is to get the contact information for the person who handles the email server at your subscriber's business or ISP. Once this information has been obtained, the Informz staff will track down the problem and do everything we can to make sure your messages get to your interested recipients.
Follow-Up
Informz will always follow up on these resolved issues to make sure future deliveries go through without a problem. Additionally, it is often a good idea to follow up with a personal email to the subscriber to make sure the issue is resolved and your communications are getting through. Not only does this verify the resolution of the issue, but it also establishes a stronger link to your subscriber, who will carry with them the knowledge that you cared enough to handle the issue personally.
